No, that’s really my only commentary on that. It looks like it as all the artillery, vehicles, and weapons of World War i. And if I saw that correctly, there might even by some Lawrence of Arabia in there.
It looks like fun. But I’ve been disappointed before.
Declan Finn is the author of Honor at Stake, an urban fantasy novel, nominated for Best Horror in the first annual Dragon Awards. He has also written The Pius Trilogy, an attempt to take Dan Brown to the woodshed in his own medium -- soon to be republished by Silver Empire Press. Finn has also written "Codename: Winterborn," an SF espionage thriller, and it's follow-up, "Codename: Winterborn." And "It was Only on Stun!" and "Set To Kill" are murder mysteries at a science fiction convention.
DOOM 4 might have spoiled me on shooters. Dense level design, well designed enemies, powerful weapons, and you get to shoot demons in the face. I’m going to need more than hallway level design with no freedom, two weapons, and iron sights, to get me excited now.

I really liked the tactical situations in Mass Effect 2, but I’m also not much of a gamer and I’ve never played any of the Doom franchise.
